NIT Rourkela Recruitment 2026 for 09 Officer Cadre Posts

National Institute of Technology Rourkela, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the Officer Recruitment Notification 2026 (Advt. No. NITR/ES/01/2026) inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for 09 Officer Cadre posts on regular basis. The recruitment covers senior and mid-level officer positions including Librarian, Deputy Librarian, Scientific Officers, Assistant Registrar, and Medical Officer. Candidates with postgraduate, engineering, IT, library science, or medical qualifications along with relevant experience are eligible to apply. The online application process begins on 14 January 2026 and closes on 19 February 2026, with selection to be carried out through trade/skill tests and interviews as applicable. Selected candidates will be posted at the NIT Rourkela campus in Odisha.
