Odisha Police Recruitment 2026 for 800 Special Police Officer Posts

Odisha Police, under the Government of Odisha, has released the Odisha Police Recruitment 2026 notification for the engagement of 800 Special Police Officer (SPO) posts on a contractual basis for one year. This recruitment is specifically intended for retired police personnel including Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and Inspectors who have served in the police department. Eligible retired officers with a good service record and knowledge of the Odia language can apply for these posts. The selection process will include document verification, medical examination, physical test, and interview.
